The cottage we stayed at was absolutely amazing! It had all the facilities that we dream of as travelers. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were nice, and the living room with a fireplace created a fantastic atmosphere. We really enjoyed cozying up by the fire in the evenings. the owners of the cottage were incredibly dedicated to their job and made our stay easy by bringing us whatever we needed. It was a great experience to have such attentive and helpful hosts.
One minor thing that we would have liked is for there to be a couple of occasional lights in the sitting area to soften the lighting in the room. It's a very small detail, but it would have added to the overall ambiance.

the welcome pack provided was a thoughtful touch. the hosts were friendly and shared interesting historical information about the cottage. the location was peaceful and surrounded by beautiful countryside. We enjoyed the opportunity to relax and unwind in a tranquil setting.
There were some early morning disturbances due to noisy roosters nearby. Despite the nearly soundproof windows, closing them didn't completely block out the noise, causing some interruptions to our sleep.

Beautiful cottage surrounded by stunning scenery. Warm and friendly welcome from the host, who provided detailed information about the cottage and nearby attractions. Peaceful location, perfect for a relaxing holiday.
Inaccurate location on the map and lack of clear signage. Bathroom and bed linen could have been cleaner.

The location of the cottage is idyllic, surrounded by green fields and total peace and quiet. Guests have mentioned the incredible calm and the opportunity for kids to explore and enjoy freedom. the hosts are also highly regarded for their warm welcome and helpfulness, providing fresh eggs from their farm and offering advice on local attractions. the house itself is well-renovated and equipped with all the necessary utilities a traveler would need, including comfortable beds, nice bathrooms, and a living room with a fireplace creating a fantastic atmosphere.
One aspect that could be improved is the wifi connection, which some guests have mentioned as not being great. this could be seen as a positive for those looking for a chance to disconnect and enjoy the surroundings without constantly being on their phones.

I had the most incredible stay at a beautiful cosy cottage nestled in the foothills of the Sperrin mountains. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with the warmest welcome from the host, Isabella. The cottage itself was exceptionally clean, cosy, and warm, making it the best place I've ever stayed in Ireland. The open fire at night was a lovely touch, and my children absolutely loved getting up close to the animals. With plenty of space and stunning surroundings, it truly was a fantastic find. The cottage was also equipped with everything we could possibly need, and Isabella even went out of her way to prepare the beds and ensure the heating was on before our arrival. The fresh eggs from the chickens and the biscuits were a delightful treat. This peaceful rural retreat provided the perfect escape, and I couldn't have asked for better hosts. I highly recommend this cottage and cannot wait to come back.

Our stay at Pat Larry's Cottage was exceptional. The value for money was unbeatable - we couldn't believe the outstanding comfort we got for the price. The cozy and beautifully furnished cottage, complete with two bathrooms and a well-equipped kitchen, felt like a home away from home. The location was stunning, nestled in a peaceful valley surrounded by breathtaking views. The host, Isabella, was incredibly warm and helpful, providing us with a wealth of knowledge about the local area. The highlight of our stay was exploring the working farm and meeting all the adorable animals, which our kids absolutely loved. We can't recommend this cottage enough!

The cottage at Pat Larry'S was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were visiting family. The warm and friendly atmosphere made our stay so enjoyable. We loved being able to help feed the young lambs and had great conversations about farming with Isabella and her family. The location was perfect for exploring nearby attractions like the Ulster American Folk Park and the Famine Village in Donegal. The cottage itself was cozy and had everything we needed, including a wood-burning stove that added a special touch to our evenings. And let's not forget the fresh eggs from the hens every morning! we had a fantastic time and can't wait to come back. I highly recommend Pat Larry'S Cottage for a truly memorable stay.

I was warmly welcomed by Isabelle, who had prepared little gifts for me upon arrival. Despite coming straight from a muddy race, she made me feel right at home and even provided fresh eggs for breakfast. The location was perfect, surrounded by beautiful countryside and peaceful surroundings. The facilities were excellent, and I also had the chance to visit the nearby archaeological sites, which added to the overall experience. The lack of wifi turned out to be a blessing in disguise, as it allowed me to disconnect and truly appreciate the natural beauty around me. I highly recommend Pat Larry's Cottage for a memorable and rejuvenating getaway.
